Volunteers tackle cemetery project

Members of the Holme Circle Civic Association joined students from Father Judge High School and Catholic Community Services to clean up the Holme-Crispin Cemetery for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service project.

Sub-freezing temperatures and morning snow didn’t stop a dozen volunteers from clearing litter, downed tree branches and 25 bags of downed leaves from the burial ground in two hours. Dunkin’ Donuts of Holme Circle also contributed to the project by donating coffee and hot chocolate. ••
